Here is a simple step-by-step guide that explains the vehicle insurance claim process.
- Register a vehicle insurance claim: Has your vehicle been damaged? Don’t worry. If you want to move ahead with your vehicle insurance claim, the process has been made as easy as possible.
If you wish to file claims online, use the Motor OTS feature on their app. It is a feature that enables you to register a claim via their general insurance app and get it settled within 20 minutes.
If you are using the app, then fill in the motor claim form with the below information:
- Contact Number
- Number of engine and Chassis
- Accident date and time
- Details of the accident
- Vehicle inspection address
- Kilometer reading
When you register your claim, the Bajaj Allianz claim app will give you a Claim Reference number. The exact status of your claim may be sent to you via SMS.
If you need roadside help, contact their customer service at the toll-free number 1800-103-5858. Only customers who have chosen to add this feature to their vehicle insurance policy can use this service. *
- Send in your vehicle to get fixed: We suggest that you move your car from where it broke down, or got into an accident to a garage, or have it towed to keep it from getting any worse. In the event of theft, you need to file a written report with the police and inform Bajaj Allianz by calling our toll-free number.
If your vehicle is stolen and isn’t found within 90 days, ask the police to provide you a Non-Traceable Report. It is a legal document that declares that the police authorities haven’t found your vehicle. Then you can relax and let us handle the rest. *
- Survey and settling claims: Depending on the nature of your insurance claim, take the copies of the documents to the garage or dealer of your choice and have them checked against the originals. Is the damage not too bad? Do you only have a cracked windshield or a loose bumper? In that case, let our Motor OTS (On-The-Spot) service take over.

Your vehicle will be taken to a network garage of your choice to get it fixed and brought back to you. Bajaj Allianz will pay the garage directly. You might only have to pay the voluntary excess (specified in the policy’s terms) and the depreciation value, which the surveyor might inform you of.
